An invite from a distant relative arrived by mail early this morning. It was my Aunt Geliza asking me to Visit Hamburg and stay with her there for a month. Her husband just passed away and she had no one to live with there since they do not have a child. I’m considering this invitation not only because I want to see the city of Hamburg but also because my aunt needs someone to be with her in this time of her life. We are too late to attend the funeral of my uncle but I have already extended my condolences to them.

I would probably bring a cousin Marvin with me because I don’t want to go there alone. We are considering to Hire car in Hamburg during our stay there to familiarize ourselves with the place. I’m not sure what to say to my Aunt Geliza when I see her but I hope that I can lessen the pain that she is currently going through. She is also already pretty old and I don’t know if she’s now a little grumpy. Anyway, the trip to Hamburg is scheduled next week.

Few of our relatives from the different states of the US are arriving early December at our home. This is for the early preparation of the holiday season where a very rare reunion is going to be held. Trisha is a cousin of mine that lives in Chicago. She had been studying culinary in Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago for a couple of years now. I don’t really know much about her school but I did visit http://www.chic.edu, their school website once. Trisha is going to spearhead the food preparations and we are going to assist her in that.

Aunt Nitz is probably going to arrive in the second week of December. She is from Canada and she is going to arrive with her husband Uncle Wallen and Michael. Her son Michael is my favorite nephew. He once lived with us for 5 years and we really bonded together within that period. My mother’s relatives from Hawaii haven’t made any confirmation yet but we are still expecting them to join us. They are really busy people and they are big fans of the element of surprise.

My mother always tells me that I should not waste my money and that I should always spend it wisely. Honestly at first I really didn’t treat it seriously because I know I am still young and I can even earn a lot of money. Well my officemates are really different. They really are saving half of there salaries for future use. I was really astounded by what there doing. I even heard one of my officemates say that she will buy a boulder real estate because that is where her family lives. That really shocked me and it woke me up to the sense that I should really save. So when my next salary came I really lessened my expenses and saved half of it the bank.

Well now I am also planning to buy my own house and buy my brother a new car as a gift for his graduation. My savings really helped us a lot. When my grandmother got sick we used some of the money I have saved to pay the hospital bills. It really gave my mom and my aunt peace of mind. I even bought my self a new living room set for my new place. It really feels good when you see all the things you have made just by working really hard. It gives satisfaction. Now I am again saving to give my father and my mother a cruise trip in Asia for their 25th wedding anniversary. It would surprise them for sure. Now I know mom’s right that I should always spend my money wisely and save some of it too.
