Fuel Crisis

The huge increase in the price of gasoline lately is alarming. I’m beginning to think that our car is becoming a liability and costs me a lot because it consumes so much fuel. Because of continuous oil price hikes, I’m thinking of buying a motor cycle. A neighbor was offering to sell me his honda goldwing the other day and I told him to get back to me in a couple of days. Motorcycles consume less fuel and they are perfect for small errands and emergency situations like going to a convenience store to buy something really important.

Fuel has been a need for humans since the invention of automobiles. However, since they claim that there’s a scarcity of oil, why don’t they invent something that will run without oil? Small people like me are the ones who are affected by the oil price hikes. I’m not sure if anyone is doing something about this but it seems that no one is. I’d really love to keep my car but if I no longer able to afford the cost of its maintenance, I will have to get rid of it. It’s just sad how the increase of oil and fuel prices has affected the prices of other things like food and transportation because it affects the middle men.
