Filed under: Fitness and Health — admin June 29, 2008 @ 11:58 pm

Getting energized isn’t such an instant. The problem of today’s world is a demanding job and lack of adequate sleep, all conspired to turn you into a sluggish beast, too tired to get through the day, much less power through the workout. But now, you can energize yourself through the use of energy pills.

Since stress tends to hinder our bodies to get enough energy, adaptogens in energy pills are supposed to revitalize you, allowing you to get more energy for exercise and speeding up your recovery. There are four types of supplements that can give energy to our bodies: GINSENG, MACA, RHODIOLA and NADH (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide). You could intake energy pills for only two or three weeks, then take a two- week break to reduce the impact of the pill’s negative side effects. It is generally considered safe, although the list of possible ill effects includes headache, insomnia, anxiety, skin rashes and heart palpitation.

Geez, I hope there’s nothing wrong with her kidneys. Last month she had a high blood pressure and the other month she had a high sugar level and January she had an operation. Right now, we’re waiting for the lab results and we’ll show them to the doctor tomorrow to know what the problem is. Having kidney trouble is just normal in the family but I wish my mom wouldn’t have it.
