I was craving for coffee before lunchtime so I rushed to the nearest Starbucks coffee shop and ordered my favorite frappe. I have been a coffee lover since I was in college. Coffee is my partner for my sleepless finals nights. Just a strong and tasty coffee and I’m sure I’d get enough energy to review. And now that I’m already working, I still drink coffee to get into the mood when I’ve got piles of paperwork to do. My friends and I also enjoy drinking coffee together so we always meet up on Friday nights and chat ‘til midnight over a cup of coffee.

I was shopping yesterday when I saw a bunch of personalized pens displayed on a window. I was not able to control myself and got one for me and my best friend. We really love collecting personalized stuffs since college.

I remembered when we were in college, we had this professor who is really cool. My best friend and I agreed to give him a personalized pen as a souvenir. Too bad we didn’t do a good job picking up the style and color, because another classmate of hours had the same color and design of personalized pen for him.

I remember when I was a child, I have some friends who can’t afford to buy toys because they don’t have enough money. I used to lend them some of mine and we play with them in our garden. But one day, when I went to their house they had their own toys to play. These are not like the toys which could be bought somewhere; their toys are made up of plastic bottles. They used an empty plastic bottle and put a face of a toy character, and that’s it. They were very contented with what they have and until now I admire them for being creative to be able to make their own toys.

One day I met one of my childhood friends while I’m in the mall. She is one my friends who can’t afford to buy toys then. She invited me to their house and I was surprised with what I saw; her dining room is full of different kinds of toys. Buying toys has been her greatest dream and it finally came true.

I seldom go out with my friends. Just once when an officemate of mine invited us to have some coffee in her condo hotel that has nice looking farmhouse sinks that I decided to have some time off after long weeks of work. I know it is really a must to give yourself time to relax and enjoy. It was an almost a perfect night until I realized that I forgot to email an important report to our client that he will need for our meeting the next day. Thank goodness there was a wireless internet in the place and I have my laptop with me. Now I can say it’s perfect!
