Power Interruption

A party was held last night and it was one of a kind. There was an unexpected power interruption and every one was shocked because of the sudden darkness that occurred. It was not long when candles start to light and turn the darkness into a beauty.

Well this is the first time that I am attending a candle light dance party and it was great. Every one enjoyed the party and can’t help but to talk about it even on our way home.

Big Day

A week ago, after helping my cousin Paul to fix the necessary papers for the inheritance loan that my Aunt Mary left him, we went to the mall to find some office clothes for him to wear. He would be having his first job interview tomorrow on a construction firm; you see my cousin is a licensed civil engineer. To work on one of the country’s biggest construction firms is his dream so he is preparing so much for his big day. It is not that hard to find him something to wear because almost all kinds of clothes fit him. After few minutes of fitting, we picked a white long sleeved polo shirt, black pants and coat, and a matching tie.

Doing all the shopping made me quite hungry, so I told him that we go to a fast-food chain and eat our lunch. I ordered a chicken meal, burger, and french-fries, Paul ordered the same. While we were eating he asked me some tips about the things you have to do for a job interview. I told him to be very paunc6tual or to come earlier than that of the scheduled time. And most of all he must look smart, answer the questions asked by the interviewer honestly and cleverly. (I really wished that the tips I told him would help). After eating our lunch we both we went home.

Party Time

Knowing new people and finding new friends is always an exciting thing for me. This is also the main reason why I love attending parties and gathering. Last weekend, I attended a house party just near our house. There I knew Samantha who is a beautiful and charming St. Petersburg Dentist. We had some chit chat for more than an hour and got to exchange numbers after that. I can tell that we’ll both get along with each other.

Too bad Samantha needed to leave the party early because of some personal reasons. Well, we already had a conversation over the phone and our relationship as friends is getting better. We are actually planning to go out with some friends sometime and probably get to know more about each other.

Unfortunate Accident

It was around two in the morning when my phone rang and woke me up. This was very unlikely because no one used to call me this late. I was still half asleep but when I picked up the phone, the first sound that I heard woke me up completely. My friend Chris was crying and said that he was in the hospital because of an accident. Within a couple of minutes I found myself in the car driving fast to the hospital. Chris had Jane with him who is currently undergoing a rhinoplasty because her nose was broken.

There was nothing I can do about this except express my support and empathize with Chris. Chris’ mom came after a few hours so I decided to go home. It was eight when arrived home. Tired and deprived of sleep, dropped asleep in my bed instantly. The day was indeed long for me. I hope my friends will be alright. My hopes and prayers are with them but for now, I need to help myself and get some sleep.

Family’s Pride

My cousin Gary just recently finished his high school studies and he told us of his plans of studying criminology. We all think that it was a great plan and if ever, he is going to be the first police in the family. I made a joke about him getting police misconduct offenses often because of his short temper but I think he’ll really be good at service. He has improved his patience and matured a lot when he was in high school. Her girlfriend Anne was not that enthusiastic about the news but think they can just talk this through.

Gary’s mother is fine with the news. She believes that danger is everywhere and being a police is okay. She is actually supportive about Gary’s plan and she was even asking around on which college is the best for the said course. I can already imagine my cousin wearing a police uniform and driving a police mobile. I don’t know what exactly convinced my cousin to take this path but that doesn’t matter a lot. Gary wearing a badge is our pride for our entire family we are all proud of him.
